Delegation of the Orthodox Church of Bulgaria on a Visit to the Romanian Patriarchate
The Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate informs us:
On 11 November 2011, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel received, at the Patriarchal Residence, a delegation of the Orthodox Church of Bulgaria, made up of His Eminence Neofit, Metropolitan of Ruse, His Eminence Gavriil, Metroplitan of Lovec, Priest Ioan Ivnov of the Bulgarian community of Bucharest, and deacon Kiril Sinev.
During the meeting, the Bulgarian delegation informed the Patriarch of Romania about the measures taken for building a place of worship for the Bulgarian Orthodox faithful of Bucharest, for which a plot of land has already been identified in Snagov locality, which is to be purchased directly by the Bulgarian Patriarchate.
His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel assured the Bulgarian guests, in his turn, that the Romanian Patriarchate blesses the construction of the respective place of worship and it will also contribute to the equipment of the place of worship with an oak iconostasis carved in the workshops of the Romanian Patriarchate.
To end with, the two hierarchs of the Bulgarian Patriarchate expressed their thanks to the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church for the cordial reception and especially for expressing the feelings of brotherhood and practical co-operation between the two Orthodox Church.
