His Grace Ciprian, Patriarchal Vicar Bishop, has presented, in the name of the Standing Meeting of the National Church Council, a report which summarized the most important achievements of the Romanian Patriarchate between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009, under the direct supervision and with the blessing of the Patriarch.
Subsequently, Right Rev. Varsanufie, Auxiliary Bishop of the Bucharest Archdiocese, has presented the activities of the Bucharest Archdiocese during the second year of shepherding by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.
The Nicolae Lungu Choir of the Patriarchal Cathedral has continued with a short musical moment, and the TRINITAS TV station of the Romanian Patriarchate has presented a documentary which contains the most significant moments of the official visits of the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Constantinople and Cappadocia and in Austria and France.
Today's anniversary events, broadcasted live by the TRINITAS TV and radio stations, were attended by 20 bishops, members of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, representatives of state and local authorities, Romanian personalities, members of the Standing Meeting of the National Church Council and of the Standing Meeting of the Bucharest Archdiocese, as well as other invitees, clerics and laymen.
