His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, Turns 58
On July 22, 2009, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, turns 58. Being at the Holy Mary Monastery in Techirghiol, Constanta county, a patriarchal stavropegia, at this anniversary moment, Romania's Patriarch will participate at the Te Deum service celebrated in the monastery's church, as a thanksgiving to God for the benefactions bestowed upon His Beatitude, upon the Romanian Orthodox Church and upon the Romanian people. The service will be followed by a short anniversary moment.
A similar thanksgiving service on the occasion of the birthday of the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church will be celebrated during the Holy Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest. The official holiday of the Romanian Patriarch is September 30, the date of the enthronement of His Beatitude as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
