His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel Addressed a Sermon on the Feast of Cernica Monastery
Hundreds of faithful have attended today, April 11, 2009, the feast of Holy Hierarch Calinic at the Cernica Monastery. St. Calinic is venerated with Ilfov county surroundings. The feast of Holy Hierarch Calinic, the protector of the monastic place in the county near Bucharest has started since last night with the Vigil, which was attended by Right Rev. Vincentiu, Patriarchal Vicar Bishop. Today, the Holy Liturgy was celebrated by Right. Rev. Calinic, Bishop of Arges and Muscel, heading a gathering of priests and deacons.
At the end of the Holy Liturgy, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel addressed a sermon to the faithful, which presented the life and activity of Holy Hierarch Calinic of Cernica.
