His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, at the Feast of the Sfanta Vineri Noua Church in Bucharest

Hundreds of faithful participated today, October 14, at the Holy Liturgy celebrated at the Sfanta Vineri Noua Church in Bucharest. The church is one of 17 in Romania's capital under the protection of St. Paraskevi of Epibatos, whose complete wonder-working relics are kept at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Iasi.

The Holy Liturgy was celebrated by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, surrounded by many priests and deacons. In his sermon, His Beatitude explained the most important teachings in today's Gospel fragment and evoked the personality of St. Paraskevi, the protector of Moldavia and of all those who honor her with faith.
