PRESS RELEASE: 'St. Nicholas Among the Children' - Cultural-Artistic Programme at the Patriarchate's Palace
Sunday, December 6, 2009, at 5 p.m., in the Aula Magna 'Patriarch Teoctist' of the Patriarchate's Palace, with the blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, the cultural-artistic programme titled 'St. Nicholas Among the Children' will unfold. The event, organized by the Bucharest Archdiocese and the Bucharest School District, with the support of the Romanian Patriarchate, will be attended by primary and secondary school students, together with their teachers, from several schools in Bucharest.
The event will be preceded, at 4:30 p.m., by the exhibition of the Icon in the Child's Soul competition, which reached its 17th edition, organized by the Romanian Patriarchate and the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation, as well as the exhibition 'St. Nicholas Among the Children' which is made up of drawings made by primary and secondary school students in Bucharest.
Subsequently, the organizers will give all the children present gifts, with the support of the three deaneries of Bucharest.
