His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel celebrates today, September 12, two years since the election as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church. On this occasion, at Miclauseni Monastery a Te Deum service was celebrated, attended by an impressive number of hierarchs, priests and deacons.

In his sermon, Most Rev. Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bukovina, evoked the moment of the election of the sixth Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church. His Excellency has underlined the activity of His Beatitude Daniel over the two years of activity as patriarch.

His Beatitude Daniel thanked the Good God for all the blessings He bestowed upon him and also talked about the role of his canonical visit in the Metropolitanate of Moldova and Bukovina, which unfolded over the last week.
