After the Great Blessing of Water, the group of servant priests of the Patriarchal Cathedral went to the Patriarchal Residence, where they were met by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.
His Beatitude blessed all those present and showed in the speech delivered the need of the deification of the human life in view of salvation.
“The Holy Spirit consecrates the nature of the waters in order to deify the man, his soul and body, as well the space where he lives and works. This deification of the man and nature through the Church as a result of the work of the Holy Spirit is the cosmic dimension of the Orthodox faith. The Orthodox Christian wishes to deify not only his soul, mind, and senses, but also his house and the space where he works, lives and unfolds all his activity. This is why these days the priest goes to the houses of the faithful to consecrate their places so that there is a relationship between the faithful who come to the church and the church represented by the clergy who go to the houses of the faithful for every family to become a confessing church, more attached to the holy tradition and willing to fulfil the will of God in our life”, also said His Beatitude, as Trinitas Radio station informs us.
