Because the protector of the new Cathedral for the Nation’s Salvation is Saint Andrew the Apostle, on 29 November 2011, 16.00 hours, a particle of the holy relics of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Protector of Romania, kept in the historical Chapel of the Patriarchal Residence, will be brought for worshipping at the chapel dedicated to the Resurrection of the Lord, Icon of the Mother of God – Prodromita and to Saint John Chrysostom situated close to the building yard of the Cathedral for the Nation’s Salvation.
The holy relics of Saint Andrew the Apostle will remain in the chapel of the Cathedral for the Nation’s Salvation to be worshipped by the clergy and faithful till 30 November 2011 in the evening.
