The Romanian Orthodox Church sends its deep affliction and condolences to the entire Polish people for the tragic death, in the aircraft crash of 10 April 2010, near Smolensk, of 96 persons, among whom were His Excellency Mr. Lech Kaczynski, the Polish President, as well as other Polish officials, including Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant clergy.
We pray the Risen Lord Christ to repose the souls of the dead in the light of His Resurrection and to comfort their families.
