According to Lucian Ducan, correspondent of Trinitas Radio station, thanksgiving monasteries were said in Voronet church monastery, and then His Eminence Archbishop Pimen made a short presentation of the monastic life of the settlement.
Then, the Patriarch of Romania delivered a speech in which he underlined the symbolic value of the Orthodox Christianity in Romania. His Beatitude also referred to the beauty of the painting of this monastery as a symbol of the Voronet blue: “Here we have an urge to cosmic Liturgy and the beauty of the Voronet blue really calls the green from nature and the translucent green illuminated by the sun in the heavenly Liturgy. Voronet shows us best through its blue, the heaven come down on the earth embracing all the world created by God, the nature, and this why the Roman Christian man feels God close to him”, also said His Beatitude.
