The camp’s theme for this year is The Mother of God in the iconography. The camp’s program includes children’s participation at daily services, workshops of icon painting on glass, psaltic music, reading and opens discussions, sportive activities such as swimming, volley-ball, football and short trips around the countryside.
His Eminence Archbishop Nicolae and Rev. Hieromonk Andrei Aioanei, Cathedral Priest will participate. This is a new initiative for the Children of Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral in Chicago. The organizers are the Professors at the Cathedral Sunday School directed by Mrs. Violeta Vancea.
