Right Rev. Macarie Dragoi, Bishop of Northern Europe, visited between September 12-18, 2008, Norway, in his first pastoral journey since his enthronement in Stockholm, in July this year. Saturday, September 13, 2008, he celebrated the Holy Liturgy in Stavanger, on Norway's West coast.

Sunday, September 14, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, he celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the 'Holy Voivod Stefan the Great and Holy Martyr King Olaf' in Oslo, where he also met with His Excellency Cristian Istrate, Romania's ambassador to Norway, as well as with Ole Christian Warme, Bishop of Oslo.

During his last days in Norway, Right Rev. Macarie Dragoi, Bishop of Northern Europe, was on a pilgrimage to Trondheim, where the relics of Holy Martyr King Olaf were kept for several centuries.
