On behalf of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, the clergy, the monks, the nuns and of the faithful throughout the Romanian Patriarchate, we address to You our warmest congratulations for the election as Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
We hope that the Merciful God will help us in giving together a common Orthodox witness in Europe and worldwide and to work for the strengthening of our fraternal communion and of the friendship between the Romanian and the Serbian peoples.
