Today, 9 April 2011, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, began his canonical visit to France, at the invitation of His Eminence Iosif, Metropolitan of the Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan See of Western and Meridional Europe.
Tonight, His Beatitude consecrated two memorial crosses in the Romanian military cemetery of Huguenau locality, situated 30 km North of Strasbourg, assisted by His Eminence Iosif, Metropolitan of the Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan See of Western and Meridional Europe, by His Eminence Casian, Archbishop of Lower Danube, as well as by priests and deacons, as George Valcu, correspondent of Trinitas Tv channel at Strasbourg informs us.
