Bulgarian Orthodox Church: October 24 will be a day of prayer for disabled children

During its October 3 regular session, the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church established the date of October 24, when the feast of the Mother of God the joy of all who sorrow is celebrated, to be a day of prayer for disabled children, the official site of the Holy Synod reported.

A prayer for children with disabilities will be held on October 24.

The Holy Synod also set the date to be the Day of Prayer for Disabled Children. „October 24, to mark the day of prayer and the Orthodox calendar as a „prayer for children with disabilities“, says the decision.
