According to a brief message on the official Serbian Patriarchate website, “His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej was released from hospital treatment at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade in the morning of August 6, 2019.”
As previously reported, His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia was rushed to the hospital on August 29 and was being treated for several days at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.
Pat. Irinej regularly serves the Divine Liturgy and typically has several meetings a day and had been feeling unwell in the heat before he was taken to the hospital. He was admitted with a high fever.
