“It is the tenth time we receive this great gift of blessing from the Holy Sepulchre of the Resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ,” His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel said Saturday evening while welcoming to Bucharest the Romanian Patriarchate’s delegation bringing the Holy Fire from Jerusalem.
“This Holy Light is a gift of the love of our Saviour Jesus Christ for those who love him and have a strong faith in the universal resurrection,” the patriarch added.
“This is the light that we desire and await. And it awaits us in the glorious Kingdom of the Holy Trinity,” said Patriarch Daniel April 7 ending his speech.
