The First Liturgy in the Orthodox Church of Stallbaum, Germany

The construction of an Orthodox monastic settlement began in Stallbaum, Germany (about 50 km east of Nürnberg), with the blessing of His Eminence Serafim, Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan of Germany, Central and Northern Europe. On 24 July 2016, the 5th Sunday after Pentecost, the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the wooden church recently built, in the presence of a large number of faithful. The religious service was celebrated by protosyncelos Arsenie Drăgan – hierodeacon Chiril Socaciu informs.

At the end, Fr. Arsenie delivered a sermon for the faithful present urging them to reach peacefulnes as starting point of the deep holy prayer.

Then, the solemn remembrance service for those passed away from our nation was celebrated in front of the place of worship.
